Glenn and Sharon picked me up a little before 8 am. Traffic was heavy but we made it to the airport in plenty of time. Glenn took our picture.
There were no lines at the Delta Needs Assistance Line. We had to show our passports to get our boarding passes. We checked our bags. After going through security we went to the Country Cat for breakfast.
Minneapolis. These pictures are a little blurry but then I was taking it out the window from the aisle seat.
Art in MSP
We got to the airport first. We walked around waiting for inspiration to hit on where to have dinner. It took a bit to connect with Jeanne and Kris. Somehow we crossed paths. But we finally got to Ike's Clubhouse for dinner. By then we were each ready for a glass of wine, except for Jeanne. She had missed lunch and didn't want wine on an empty stomach.
All together, Sharon, me, Jeanne, and Kris
Speaking of wine, after dinner we had time to go buy a bottle of wine to have in Toronto. We took off from MSP for a 2 hour flight.
Coming in to Toronto
We landed in Toronto at 11:30 pm Toronto Time.
At this time of night there were no lines going through customs in Toronto. We had to find the right kiosk that would handle our "foreign" passports. But once we figured it out it went smoothly. We got our luggage and headed out to find a taxi. I was almost blocked from leaving. There was a little slip of paper we got at the kiosk that we showed at different locations. After getting our luggage, I thought that I no longer needed that slip of paper and put it somewhere. I finally found it. Whew!! I had not realized that we needed to turn it in. We found the taxi line. We got to our apartment a little after midnight.
We had detailed instructions for how to get in to the building but we did not need them since someone else was going in right before us. We got up to apartment on the ninth floor, #909.
We have a very nice deck. This is the view of the city from the deck.

Glad you met up with Jeanne OK. Have a good time on the food tour and harbor cruise.
