After lunch we went kurta (tunic) shopping for things to wear on the our travels. Then we went to the Jama Masjid which is the largest mosque in India. Before going in we had a restroom break. Debbie and I were the only ones brave enough to use the squat pot. I should have not gone in there. I managed to drop my camera into the toilet!!! Argh. I hope my camera is not ruined. Maybe it will dry out. Luckily I have my phone!!
Debbie was the only one who paid the camera fee so she could take pictures. I got copies from her. It has been a little cool but I did not need a jacket.
Very calm place. It is an example of Hindu and Islam architecture. The scalloped arches are the Hindu influence. Several other things around.
Bad luck! I hope the camera works again once it's dried out!

ReplyDeleteIf you can find some uncooked rice and plastic bag I hear putting a wet electronic device in that helps to dry it out.
