Our Quebec City Apartment

Our Quebec apartment was a funky apartment on the 2nd floor with no view and a neighborhood feel.  We had 2 key code locked doors to go through, so we just needed to remember the codes.  There were stairs to get from the front door to our apartment door.  The building had 2 apartments.  Once in the apartment there was a flight of stairs to the main floor.  Then there was a flight of stairs going up to the master bedroom where Kris and Sharon were. Jeanne and I had the downstairs bedroom. So we had a lot of stairs to do.  Dealing with the luggage was a challenge.  The stairs were narrow and the rails were in awkward places.  The master bedroom had a huge walk-in closet, a side space with an extra bed, large bedroom and a huge open style bathroom. When we were leaving we had to carry our trash and recycling down the street to recycling and trash bins.  That was a pain.  The Metro Plus (grocery) and the SAQ (wine) store was around the corner from the grocery store.
