We were met in the lobby by the Compass representative at 8 am. He got us to the airport. We had plenty of time to sit and wait. It did not take long to go through the various hoops we had to go through. This time it was Sharon's bag that beeped. They made us check our bags. We did a little shopping - trying tu use up our rupees. Our flight was not until 11:20 am. It was an 8 hour flight, so we had 2 meals. We got to Paris on time 4:50 pm. It did not take long to go through customs. Then there was a little snafu with our prepaid shuttle. They were waiting for us at one terminal and we were at another. Had to wait about 1/2 hour for them to find us. It was 7 pm before we got to our hotel. It is very nice but kind of odd. It is a cluster of separate buildings all attached with one entry. Each building has a different artist name. We are in Renoir. We dumped our stuff off and then went for dinner at La Place Royale. We weren't very hungry plus they would not take a credit card so we did not have enough cash for a big meal.
This is a tiny little room, we can almost turn around in it. The wifi is very slow and my mobile hot spot does not seem to work. So no pictures for now.
