Kodai to Mumbai - what contrasts.
I already put up some pictures of the drive down the ghat. It took us a little longer than expected Also the driver could not find us a good restroom so we were pretty desperate when we got to the airport. First have to have a passport check just to get in to the airport then luggage has to go through a check before you get to the counter to get your ticket and boarding pass. For some reason they did not like my suitcase this time. I had to go through it all until we found the hand warmers I had put in for Paris. They put those through separately, then I could go to the BR, Whew. Then check in and check our bags, Then to go through the real security where they had to check everything again. This time they did not like my bag full of cords and chargers. Oh well. Each time is a little different. I had a can of pop in that bag and they just told me to open it and I could keep it. It was a short flight - 1 1/2 hours and we were in Mumbai. Once our luggage arrived we headed out to find our Compass Facilitation Assistant. He got us out to the van only to find that it had broken down. They sent an alternate small 6 person vehicle that we barely fit in with all of our luggage. That got us to the very nice hotel. Here are some random street scenes on the way to Coimbatore

I was in the way back so I did not really get any pictures coming in to Mumbai.
