Thursday evening

After the sunset we took several metro connections to go to Georges at the Pompidou for a drink.  If any of you saw the Hundred Foot Journey, this is the restaurant that the lead goes to to work in Paris. We just had a glass of wine and watched the view.
It was fun to see the Eiffel Tower lit up.  We were also there to see it twinkle.  It does that for 10 min every hour.

After our wine we went on several more metros to find La Jacobine.  It is the only place in town which actually serves coq au vin.  Well the only one we have seen.

It took us 3 metros to get home.  Now I am ready to crash.

  4. Yes, the Coq au Vin there is excellent. Almost as good as Sharon's.
