Goodby dinner

Our last meal together we went to a very nice restaurant, the Restaurante La Sacristia.  We went down to the basement where they had a big table.

We had red wine and water on the table but brought white wine and sangria for those who asked for it.  We started the meal with 2 appetizers, a sausage roll and a crustos (croquette)

spinach salad with a tomato dressing

My choice was ox steak on potatoes and peppers (I gave Jeanne my peppers)

Jeanne and Sharon had the cod

Kris had the tuna.  We had one vegetarian in the group.  Camille got a huge plate of grilled vegetables.  She said that it was very good.  She also said that generally most places did not know what to serve a vegetarian.  The night before, she had gotten a plate of sliced tomatoes.

Kris and Terry both got cakes with candles; since they had birthdays during the week.  Jeff and Dawn had candles because it was their anniversary during the week.  The rest of us just got the cake and ice cream.

Federico.  At the end of the meal he treated us by singing some songs.  Wow.  What a treat that was.

  3. I didn't realize you had children with you on this tour. I must not have noticed in the earlier photos.

  5. Seems a plate of tomatoes would not be that filling 😄
