Paulo de la Musical Catalana tour and dinner

We went to the Palau for an English tour.  The only way to see the inside is to go to a concert or to go on a tour. We opted for the tour.  It is a gorgeous space

This stained glass in the ceiling was interesting.
This is what the ceiling stained glass looked like from the side

a gas chandelier which was donated but could not be used until it could be converted to electricity.

out side we stopped at this statue to take pictures.  I do not know who this is supposed to be.

We made a few stops on our way back to the hotel.  Sharon wanted to find some of the places she had been to 10 years ago.  We found some of them.  We relaxed a bit before dinner.
RS group dinner was at a tapas Taverna.  Very good food with our choice of red or white wine.
cheese

tuna and tomatoes

foea (actually my favorite but I would hate to admit it)

grilled pepper and onion on toast

shrimp

octopus on potatoes - not too bad.  There were some other dishes as well.

fresh fruit with dark and white chocolate.

Federico sang happy birthday to Kris.  Very fun evening.

  1. google couldn't find any meaningful reference to "foea" in your food picture above. Seems like Kris has had other birthdays recognitions. It sounds like a full and fun day.

    1. That was the way the way they spelled Foie gras. I also think that they said it was goose liver

  3. The sculptures are interesting, especially the helmet with the dragon on top.
