Federico had recommended Carmen Restaurant. It was just a block away. Headed there about 8 pm.
It was a very nice restaurant, with AC
Jeanne and I split a salad that was full of asparagus, avocado, edamame and lettuce. It was supposed to have broccoli in it as well but we could not find any.
We split a pork short ribs, mashed potatoes and what I thought was green beans (I found out they were green chilies - LOL). This was a delicious meal. I would highly recommend this place. Sharon had Shrimp Scampi, cold tomato soup and padron peppers. Kris had the same salad we had and then a lamb dish with fries.
Jeanne had ice cream and we had limoncellos. After we were finished with our limoncellos, our waiter brought us free ones to top off the meal.
At the corner when we left we saw a long line in front of a restaurant. When we got closer we saw that it was a Takos restaurant.
Trout wine?
