We left the hotel at 8:15 this morning. Walked to the vaporetto - dragging all our junk. The vaporetto went around the outer side of Venice to the same place we went to yesterday when we went up the the Grand Canal. We transferred to our bus. Very comfortable. We are a small enough group that everyone could have a window seat. Quite a change in landscape from the flat Venice mainland to the hilly area around Tuscany.
We stopped for a delicious fast food bus stop lunch.
Florence has a good recycling system.

ReplyDeleteAutoGrill sounds suspiciously like it caters to American tourists. I wonder where they'd have stopped if you had people from other English-speaking countries on your tour.
